A visit to Fossick Handmade

Tucked away behind the main street of Kalgoorlie is a little haven of art, craft, jewellery and fashion known as Fossick Handmade. Part gallery, part shop, Fossick provides hours of browsing (and buying) delight bound to make even the most punctual employee late back from lunch.

With a decidedly retro vibe, the shop has regular turnover of stock from both local and interstate designers and artists. My favourite at the moment has to be the collection of creative and quirky spoon jewellery (ring, pictured above). There is also a great selection of handmade greeting cards, perfect for when a mass produced Hallmark option just won’t suffice.

If you find yourself in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, a visit to Fossick Handmade at 93 Egan Street is an absolute must.
